Itinerary

Day 1 - Istanbul to Cappadocia

We fly from Istanbul to Cappadocia (Nevsehir or Kayseri) and transfer to our hotel. In the afternoon we discover Devrent (Imagination Valley) and Pasabag (Monks Valley), with their famous mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys, and the pottery town of Avanos on the Red River. Sunset views from Uchisar Castle, the highest point in Cappadocia.

Day 2 - Sunrise balloon flight and Goreme

Before dawn we rise for the unforgettable hot air balloon flight, drifting over the valleys as the sun lights up hundreds of balloons around us. After breakfast we visit the Goreme Open-Air Museum, a monastic complex of rock churches with vivid Byzantine frescoes, then the Love Valley and Goreme panorama. Free evening for a romantic dinner.

Day 3 - Valleys and return to Istanbul

A final morning among the valleys and viewpoints of Cappadocia, with time for photos and shopping, before we transfer to the airport for the flight back to Istanbul.
