Fethiye, Oludeniz & Dalyan: Blue Cruise (4 Days)

Overview

Soak up the colours of Turkey's famous Turquoise Coast on this four-day nature and beach tour from Istanbul. Around Fethiye we find the dazzling Blue Lagoon of Oludeniz, the launch point for some of the world's most beautiful paragliding flights, the cool depths of the Saklikent Gorge, and the ancient Lycian rock tombs carved into the cliffs. We also visit Dalyan, with its riverside rock tombs of Kaunos and the protected turtle beach of Iztuzu. Round-trip flights from Istanbul, 3-4 star hotels, transfers and a guide are included.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Istanbul to Fethiye

We fly from Istanbul to Dalaman and transfer to Fethiye. We see the Lycian rock tombs above the town, including the Tomb of Amyntas, and enjoy the harbour and marina. Overnight at a 3-4 star hotel.

Day 2 - Oludeniz and Saklikent

A day at the iconic Oludeniz Blue Lagoon and Belcekiz beach, with the chance to add a tandem paragliding flight from Babadag for breathtaking views. In the afternoon we cool off in the Saklikent Gorge, one of the deepest canyons in the region.

Day 3 - Dalyan, Kaunos and Iztuzu

We take a boat along the reed-lined Dalyan river, passing the spectacular cliff rock tombs of Kaunos, and reach Iztuzu Beach, a protected nesting ground for loggerhead sea turtles. Optional thermal mud baths nearby.

Day 4 - Return to Istanbul

After a final morning by the sea we transfer to Dalaman Airport for our flight back to Istanbul.
